Hi, I'm Mel, and this is 'The Boss'. The Boss’s arrival was anything but ordinary—arriving 16 weeks early and given only a 50% chance of survival, we count our little miracle as a blessing each and every day. After spending 5 months in NICU and then coming home on oxygen support, I had to rethink my work-life balance. The Bower Tasmania was born from my need for flexibility, allowing me to support him while building something meaningful. What began as a small family-run shop in Cygnet known for quality footwear and locally crafted treasures, has blossomed into a celebration of creativity, colour, and self-expression.
Today, The Bower Tasmania is more than just a shop—it’s a showcase of vibrant design, personality, and originality. While we still offer our much-loved shoes, boots, Ugg Boots, sheepskin slippers, and our special 2 in 1 beanie-scarfs, our boldest step forward has been in the world of fun, vibrant t-shirts and hoodies that bring joy to everyday life.
